What are we going to be for Halloween? Day2

Here's hint #2 for our costumes:

Today was spent running around looking for the supplies to complete all the fun decorations I found on Pinterest for our Halloween Party on Saturday. It was exhausting, but fun to be creative on a budget. The Dollar Store, Goodwill, Joann Fabrics, Michael's....I visited them all and even completed a couple projects already this evening. The kids loved helping out and I'm excited to see how it all comes together for the weekend!

We've never decorated for Halloween before and I've surprised myself by what I'm using for decorations this year - I'm very conservative when it comes to Halloween - hence no decorations before.  I feel like since we're hosting the party though we need to do something and so I'll spend the week preparing that something and of course share photos when it's all said and done!

    I love the idea of decorating for Halloween but I'm lazy and have nowhere to store decorations from year to year. So we just do pumpkins.

    Well, I was totally off on my guess yesterday!

    I like to decorate for Halloween, but we don't have a whole lot of stuff. I've been looking on Pinterest too, and I'm planning to get out this week to get some supplies. We're hosting a dinner right before trick-or-treating this year.

Elsa's Birth Story

The morning of July 1st started out like all the other mornings this summer. The kids let me sleep until 7:30 and then came in to wake me up. We ate breakfast and I started picking up around the house. We had spent the previous day at the town pool and because the heat index was going to be just as high again we made plans to go to our beach. The kids really wanted to practice their swimming skills but I didn't want to have to pay for the pool again. At 8:30 I lost my mucus plug and my brain started running a mile a minute. Could this mean we're getting close? Could I actually go early for a change?I turned to Google and learned that labor could be hours or days away. I feel I should warn you - if you decide to Google mucus plug be prepared to see photographic proof. Why people felt the need to post pictures to Google images is beyond me!  Moving on.....
