Amber Teething Necklace Review

Beauty and function! It's a win win if you ask me and lots of people do question....

"A necklace on a baby?" 

And that's when I tell them about the benefits of amber.  My babies are early teethers  so when the nice folks at Hazelaid offered to send me a necklace for Elsa I knew that I'd want one she could wear right away.  She's wearing the 12" Milk and Butter necklace at 1 month old in these photos. Now that she's almost 3 months and 15+ pounds I'm going to purchase the next size up (14") that she'll be able to wear for years.  Who knows, maybe when she loses a few of her chins she'll be able to wear the 12" again!

I love having a natural option for pain relief and with my family's history with sensitive skin I think the next necklace I get will be one of the necklaces that includes hazelwood.

    I'm a big advocate of all natural things. Amber is the only thing that worked for my little one. Amber works by releasing natural oils when in contact with the warmth of the skin. The oils have analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.

    My kids are 10, 12, 13 and 14 now...so no amber necklaces for us, but I just have to tell you how perfectly yummy your sweet Elsa is!

    Waiting to see our new little one and know boy/girl before ordering our next amber necklace. Hannah wears hers all the time and I am a believer. She is just beautiful.

My Birthday Wish

Today is my 33rd birthday. So far I've celebrated by cleaning the kitchen, vacuuming, and washing clothes. My birthday happened to fall on a Monday - the day we set a few hours aside for me to do some of the cleaning that I just don't have time for during the work week. I love it. I get that immediate sense of accomplishment. I see results. I finished a task. Oh how that makes my heart happy!!!!! In my line of work it can be months before I can check a project off my list. All the while it nags at me and weighing me down like a ton of bricks that projects are waiting for me. Don't get me wrong, I love love love my job, but I also love that instant gratification that comes with checking something off my list. New shampoo for a new year!

Happy New Year from BearCountry! We are in the middle of a cold snap where the temps spend more time below zero than above. That means hats and gloves every.single.time we walk out the door for even the shortest trip.
