She does this a lot.
I hold her a lot, but not because she needs it, because I need it.Oh how I love to snuggle and feel that soft fuzz on her head!
She has been a dream baby. Eating every couple of hours during the day and going up to six hours between feedings at night. She falls into a deep sleep about 8pm and I feed her sometime after midnight and then around 6am. She stays asleep in between feedings which is so wonderful.
She had her first outing when she was four days old. We went to the library and she had her first adjustment at the chiropractor. She was six days old when she had her first check up. She weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces at birth - 8 pounds, 1 ounce at discharge - 8 pounds, 10 ounces at her check up.
She has the deepest blue eyes like her brother. She kicks like the dickens with her right leg when I change her diaper, but she no longer cries through the process. She took her first bottle at 7 days old - straight from the refrigerator. She eats about 2 ounces at a time. Her cord stump fell off at 9 days old - just in time for her to have her first real bath before church. She only cried for a moment and then was very quiet while her siblings helped clean her up.
Speaking of siblings. They have been a huge help to me and really love their baby sister. They get so upset (especially Sam) when Elsa gets upset. They aren't jealous in the least which is a huge blessing.
Blessings. They are all around us. We named our latest one Elsa.
I just wanna squeeze her...and although her weight says she's big, she doesn't look bit at all.....unlike my roly-poly butterball!! :-)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Congratulations again!
ReplyDeleteSo adorable! There aren't enough words.
ReplyDeleteI love that the older two are adjusting and having a good time with her. That is my biggest worry.
