3 ring circus

I thought I was busy when the campground was open and I was doing photoshoots.

I thought I was busy when I got a bunch of book orders all at the same time.

I thought I was busy when the kids started school
- in two different districts.

I thought I was busy when we started helping with more park programming.

This week we added speech therapy for Julia twice a week at an entirely different school and it's official -

I might as well join the circus.

Good thing I already know how to juggle*.

What are you juggling right now?

* A babysitter taught me to juggle when I was ten.

  3. I just found your blog and love it! Now I'm juggling a one year old and full time job with four 11 hour days. The days I'm at work I don't see the baby because he's asleep when I get home. Husband uses all days off as "daycare dad" so we only have the baby in real daycare 2 days a week (but I never see my husband!) We are struggling to figure out if "stay at home mom" is a good plan for us. Hopefully we can come to some kind of agreement...

  6. I love this picture of Julia, it reminds me of warmer days! I also have those same "crocs" so I feel we have a small connection her and I!
I am juggling daycare, being pregnant, my stuff in storage, and buying a new house. I just hope I don't drop a ball!

  7. Oh man we lead similar lives!! Hey - my son has been in speech for almost a year now - and just recently he switched from 2x to once a week - a HUGE difference! But for what it's worth - it's helped a TON! Now he won't be quiet! LOL. I've not heard of anyone who hasn't gotten good results from speech - so it's a good thing...just time consuming for momma!

"How can I help?"

So many have asked how they can help MckMama and her family during this difficult time and so I've set up a Care Calendar to help coordinate meals for the family. MckMama is coordinating childcare on her end, but you can contact me for the rest. Please leave me a comment in this message and I will contact you with more information on the Care Calendar as soon as I am able. Please be sure I can get in touch with you through your blog and/or an email address. Thank you for covering my dear friend and her family with prayers!

Shabby Apple Giveaway!

Spring is in the air and that means it's time to start thinking about changing over our closets from Winter to Spring. I don't know about you, but that also means it's time to look for a few new pieces to bring new life to what I wear year after year. Today I can make that job a little more fun for you because Shabby Apple is sponsoring a giveaway on my blog! Yeah!!!! I had so much fun looking through their collection of women's dresses and don't even get me started on their adorable line of little girl's dresses ! It's a whole new ballgame for me now that I'm going to have TWO girls to dress. In the end I decided to pick this beauty called Azure Coast to giveaway to one lucky reader because us mom's are always buying things for our kids before ourselves. I just might have to pick up one for myself in time to wear for BabyBear's baptism this summer. It's perfect for nursing moms! Want to win one for yourself? See below , but if you d...

My Birthday Wish

Today is my 33rd birthday. So far I've celebrated by cleaning the kitchen, vacuuming, and washing clothes. My birthday happened to fall on a Monday - the day we set a few hours aside for me to do some of the cleaning that I just don't have time for during the work week. I love it. I get that immediate sense of accomplishment. I see results. I finished a task. Oh how that makes my heart happy!!!!! In my line of work it can be months before I can check a project off my list. All the while it nags at me and weighing me down like a ton of bricks that projects are waiting for me. Don't get me wrong, I love love love my job, but I also love that instant gratification that comes with checking something off my list. So when Mondays roll around I am happy to pick up my dust cloth or a basket of laundry....even on my birthday. I don't have any great birthday reflections for today....maybe another day. Instead I want to share my birthday wish with you dear readers. What I wan...
