The dinosaurs are coming!

But don't worry - these are NICE dinosaurs. You could even go so far as to say they are cute. One thing is for sure - they are cheap. I spent $16 at Walmart on the supplies (including the t-shirts) to make these shirts for my kids to wear.

Let me know if you would be interested to read about how I went about making the shirts - they are my very first attempt at applique so I'm no expert. In fact I don't think I've sewn anything since that awful star sequin number I made for a 4-H project two decades ago. But if there is enough interest I will take the time to post a few tips.

  7. I want to know! I tried sewing a design on on a bib, but I think there's got to be a better way - or at least another way. These dino tees are adorable and I LOVE the idea of making unique clothes for my kids (without having to pay someone else to do it!).

  10. I would love to know. I have a dinosaur-crazy 3-year old and I'd love to be able to make him something special that he will like. It would be awesome if you showed us how you made such adorable T-shirts - not that I'm great at sewing though!
