I'm still speechless whenever we get to the September 11th page in the devotional I stuck in PapaBear's stocking the Christmas before our wedding. It was December 24,2000.
(Hopefully clicking on the image will make it big enough to read....otherwise here is what it says:
"That day will be a day of wrath, a day of distress and anguish, a day of trouble and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness." )
We will never forget.

Oh my goodness. That gave me chills.
ReplyDeleteIt is so true...we will never forget.
My 1st thought was that that must have been printed after the attacks and that verse placed there intentionally. But then I read on to see when you bought it.
ReplyDeleteWho on Earth would ever have known what was to come on that day. It's such a tragedy.
I will never forget that day, where I was when I heard, what I immediately thought and did, or all of those innocent people for as long as I live.
wow I got chills too... crazy!!!
ReplyDeleteThat gave me chills too... I still remember exactly where I was on that day. I was in my classroom of 1st graders and kindergarteners. Even this morning when our principal spoke about September 11th on our morning announcements it brought tears to my eyes and I couldn't even say the pledge or sing the national anthem afterwards out of fear that I might actually cry infront of my class. We will never forget!
ReplyDeleteWow . . went right to my heart.. will always remember this day!
