Praying for Stellan

I added the 23rd Psalm to this image of Julia for Kate Mcrae's Curls for Kate site, but I can't help but post it here for Stellan too. So many of us are praying for Stellan, his family, and his doctors - they need it now more than ever before.

  2. C...would you please call me? I feel like we should do something so we can really get folks praying but I don't want to interupt family right now.

  3. Carrie,
I'm praying most fervently!! In fact, I'm getting off the computer now to cuddle with my little ones and pray together. Thinking of you all (Jennifer's family and friends) as you love and support them during this time!

  4. I am so sad........... I once told Mckmama that they were prescribing way to much medicine for her little boy and she should look for new Doctors. Unfortunately, instead she deleted me from her thread, but I have been praying for Little Stellan unlike any other and hope that it is not to late to find the answer to save him.
    I am so sorry!

  5. I agree with the anonymouse person! She needs to get an chiropractor in there immediately! Please suggest this to her! What else does she have to lose at this point, nothing seems to be working! Praying so hard for them! Love and Hugs!

  7. Carrie. I have been following MckMama's blogs and Twitter for a few months now and am praying for the entire family. I realize you all have no idea who I am but I live about 90 minutes outside of Boston. I am available for WHATEVER they need now (along with prayer of course): food runs, keeping family and children occupied (I have 3: 11, 9 & 4), laundry, whatever...please reply to smdap1967@gmail.com and let me know what I can do. Thank you! Susan

  8. Hi Carrie,
I have sent this message to everyone I know is connected to MckMama. I am in the area and would love to be of any service she needs. Extra pacifiers for her little guy, clothes for her, ANYTHING. Please let her know or let anyone that is coordinating know. I have taken the whole week off and am ready to serve.

    Thanks,
    Rebecca

  9. Thanks for keeping us posted on Stellan. I have been so worried for that family and praying all morning long. Not much I can do from Ohio except pray, but indeed that is what I will be doing.

    Thanks,

  11. Hi Carrie,

I'm not sure if anyone is in charge of coordinating whatever Jennifer and family may need, but please pass along my email address. Whatever we can do, and we are praying fervently, please let me know. My heart is broken and I find myself unable to do much more than pray for Stellan.

  12. I have been praying so hard for Stellan and his sweet family. My husband is the program director at a summer camp, and we have our staff praying as well. We would like to send a care package. Is it possible to get an address from you? You can email me at jamesbdarling@frontiernet.net Thank you so much!

  13. Please pray the Doctors will find an alternative to all the powerful, harmful drugs. It sounds like Stellan is toxic from all of them as they prescribe more.
    So sad

  16. I am praying for both Kate McRae and Stellan.

We serve a strong and mighty God, and He is holding both of them in his gentle and loving arms.

I hurt, along with all of you, for these precious children.

"How can I help?"

So many have asked how they can help MckMama and her family during this difficult time and so I've set up a Care Calendar to help coordinate meals for the family. MckMama is coordinating childcare on her end, but you can contact me for the rest. Please leave me a comment in this message and I will contact you with more information on the Care Calendar as soon as I am able. Please be sure I can get in touch with you through your blog and/or an email address. Thank you for covering my dear friend and her family with prayers!

Elsa's Birth Story

The morning of July 1st started out like all the other mornings this summer. The kids let me sleep until 7:30 and then came in to wake me up. We ate breakfast and I started picking up around the house. We had spent the previous day at the town pool and because the heat index was going to be just as high again we made plans to go to our beach. The kids really wanted to practice their swimming skills but I didn't want to have to pay for the pool again. At 8:30 I lost my mucus plug and my brain started running a mile a minute. Could this mean we're getting close? Could I actually go early for a change?I turned to Google and learned that labor could be hours or days away. I feel I should warn you - if you decide to Google mucus plug be prepared to see photographic proof. Why people felt the need to post pictures to Google images is beyond me!  Moving on..... Just in case I ended up being one of the lucky ones who only had hours to wait until labor started I kept up with my clean

Shabby Apple Giveaway!

Spring is in the air and that means it's time to start thinking about changing over our closets from Winter to Spring. I don't know about you, but that also means it's time to look for a few new pieces to bring new life to what I wear year after year. Today I can make that job a little more fun for you because Shabby Apple is sponsoring a giveaway on my blog! Yeah!!!! I had so much fun looking through their collection of women's dresses and don't even get me started on their adorable line of little girl's dresses ! It's a whole new ballgame for me now that I'm going to have TWO girls to dress. In the end I decided to pick this beauty called Azure Coast to giveaway to one lucky reader because us mom's are always buying things for our kids before ourselves. I just might have to pick up one for myself in time to wear for BabyBear's baptism this summer. It's perfect for nursing moms! Want to win one for yourself? See below , but if you d
