Watching Julia starting to use sign language and other hand motions has brought us lots of joy in the past few weeks. She now blows kisses, waves bye-bye (technically only to herself as her hand is backwards all of the time), does the sign for "more" and "all done", and is starting to get the hang of the sign for "nurse" and "drink". Her latest thing is to point - in the exact same way as her brother did - with her wrist up and middle finger pointed down.
So many have asked how they can help MckMama and her family during this difficult time and so I've set up a Care Calendar to help coordinate meals for the family. MckMama is coordinating childcare on her end, but you can contact me for the rest. Please leave me a comment in this message and I will contact you with more information on the Care Calendar as soon as I am able. Please be sure I can get in touch with you through your blog and/or an email address. Thank you for covering my dear friend and her family with prayers!
That's wonderful! I especially like bye-bye. I think it's great when toddlers start waving. W.W waves bye-bye to people who pass by us in traffic even. He smiles the whole time.
ReplyDeleteAhhh! Such a cute photo! So fun that she and Cullen reached the pointing milestone at about exactly the same time:)
