Where's Waldo?

When your two year old is literally bouncing off the walls you know it's time to find a place other than your house to absorb some of the blows. We decided to take the kids to an indoor park where Sam could burn off some energy and Daddy could try to keep up.

See if you can find Sam in the tree house.
Hint: He's wearing green (It's St. Patrick's Day after all.)

    That looks like SO much fun! What a great way to "blow off steam"! Don't you just love how us grown ups have to crawl in those small spaces with them? Looks like they had a blast, and no...I couldn't find him in the first photo!

    Fun! I didn't crawl in there like Brian did when I took Kieran to Edinborough a couple weeks ago. I just hoped that I'd find him again! Yeah, Brian! And funny, I talked to a mom at the CCC yesterday, who had taken her kids to Edinborough on Saturday, too. Wonder if they're in the photo...

My Birthday Wish

Today is my 33rd birthday. So far I've celebrated by cleaning the kitchen, vacuuming, and washing clothes. My birthday happened to fall on a Monday - the day we set a few hours aside for me to do some of the cleaning that I just don't have time for during the work week. I love it. I get that immediate sense of accomplishment. I see results. I finished a task. Oh how that makes my heart happy!!!!! In my line of work it can be months before I can check a project off my list. All the while it nags at me and weighing me down like a ton of bricks that projects are waiting for me. Don't get me wrong, I love love love my job, but I also love that instant gratification that comes with checking something off my list. So when Mondays roll around I am happy to pick up my dust cloth or a basket of laundry....even on my birthday. I don't have any great birthday reflections for today....maybe another day.
